Congratulations to The Parkland Panthers volleyball team who captured the Bob Harrison Cup last night. This is the Lower Island AA Senior boys championship. The team beat Esquimalt in the semi-finals 25-26; 25-8 and then beat Lambrick Park in the finals 25-16; 25-16. The team play against the top AAA in the City Championships this Friday. They also play in the Island Championships in Courtenay on Nov 14th and 15th. The team hopes to capture one of the 3 top placings to earn a berth to the provincial championships.
