Congratulations to the juniors girls basketball team for their outstanding performance in their opening tournament.
The girls went 3 wins 1 loss. They won their first two games against Crofton House from Vancouver and Saint Michaels on Friday by big margins. They played one of the top 3 teams in the province Lord Tweedsmuir from Vancouver Saturday morning in one of the semi finals and put up a great fight but wound up losing to the eventual tournament winners.
In the second last game of the tournament the girls played Harry Ainsley from Edmonton and ultimately finished the tournament with a win and the third place trophy.
Way to go girls for an awesome start to the season and more hardware for the trophy case.
