Also, if you are not already on the email list for grad committee, please leave your email on the sheet on the board so you get all the current grad info!
PARKLAND GRAD 2015 THIRFITY'S FUNDRAISING SMILE CARDS ARE NOW AVAILABLE FOR PICK-UP AT THE FRONT OFFICE.
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: YEARBOOK LIST IS NOW POSTED ON FRONT OFFICE WINDOW. If your name is NOT on the list, you have not yet ordered or paid for a year book. Please check the list, and get your orders in ASAP, as list is closing soon.Also, if there is an amount still remaining to be paid, please pay Mrs. Wigbers at front office.

PCEC 1000 X 5 CHILDREN'S BOOK RECYCLING PROJECT: More than 88,000 chldren's picture book have been redistributed in the past seven years. Please bring your donated books for children living on the Saanich Peninsula; from ages 0 to 6 years old, to Parkland office for delivery to book project committee.
Saturday January 17 @ 7:30 p.m. – A NORTHERN TAPESTRY – celebration of Canadian landscape and artists, over 400 images, words and music from Canadian poets, photographers, and writers.Mary Winspear Centre for tickets: adults $28, students $16.
Monday January 19 – Elizabeth May visits Parkland! 10:30 to 11:30 in the theatre.

Congratulations to Jr. Girls Basketball Team who placed 2nd in The Riverside Jr. Girls Tournament this past weekend.
They had two wins, with the 1st game beating Elgin Park 61- 34 (Top scorers Emma Dennis 25 points & MVP of the Game, Ari Stevenson 23 points, Lauren Fanelli 9 points).In their 2nd game , they won against another ranked team, W. J. Mouat 60-48 (Top Scorers Ari Stevenson 32 points & MVP of the Game, Sarah Gibson 16 points, Emma Dennis 10 points). Parkland took 2nd place in this tournament after the final game against Abbotsford Christian 49-36 (Top scorers Lauren Fanelli 13 points & MVP of the Game, Ari Stevenson 13 points, Sarah Gibson 10 points).The entire Team played great ball at this Tournament. Many thanks to the many Parents who travelled to Vancouver to Cheer them on!

Reminder to grade 12s that any online courses that are required to complete your graduation program must be completed by April 15th if you plan to attend your graduation ceremony. Please meet with Mr. Choo if you are uncertain of your status.
