Norman Rockwell Calendar has gone missing, from classroom 104.  Please return to room 104, or front office TODAY. This item was a sentimental gift and much valued by the classroom teacher.
 
ATTENTION ALL GRADS: All grad-related info will be posted on the GRAD 2015 NOTICE BOARD. Info on grad wear details coming up! Make sure you are on Grad Facebook or email list to keep up with all the grad news!

PARKLAND GRAD 2015 THRIFTY'S FUNDRAISING SMILE CARDS ARE NOW AVAILABLE FOR PICK-UP AT THE FRONT OFFICE.

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: YEARBOOK LIST IS NOW POSTED ON FRONT OFFICE WINDOW. If your name is NOT on the list, you have not yet ordered or paid for a year book. Please check the list, and get your orders in ASAP, as list is closing soon. Also, if there is an amount still remaining to be paid, please pay Mrs. Wigbers at front office.

PCEC 1000 X 5 CHILDREN'S BOOK RECYCLING PROJECT: More than 88,000 chldren's picture books have been distributed over seven years. Please bring your donated books for children living on the Saanich Peninsula; from ages 0 to 6 years old,  to Parkland office for delivery to book project committee.

Tuesday Jan 20: Tier 1 Gold Medal final – Stevie's team vs Austin's team

Congratulations to the Sr. Boys Basketball team who came in 3rd at the Esquimalt Fire Basketball Tournament this past weekend. MVP’s were given to Godwin for 1st game, Harrison 2nd game and Justine 3rd game. Bryce won player of the Tournament and Harrison won Tournament All-Star team.The boys are currently tied for first place in their league.
Come cheer them on at their next home game Tuesday, Jan. 20th against Esquimalt. Way to go boys!!

JR. Girl’s Basketball: Bad news is the Game Today Monday January 19 has been Cancelled by Mt. Doug. The Good news is the Team has moved up to 5th Place in the Provincial Rankings! Next game at St. Michael’s Wednesday 5:45 p.m.

JR BOYS BASKETBALL: Home game versus Mt Doug @ 5:30 p.m., Mon Jan 19.

Intramural Dodgeball entry forms for JR and SR teams are available in the gym if students want to play in the league. Get your entry forms in!

Interested in an $80,000 scholarship?  See Mr. Choo for details about how to become Parkland's nominee for the $80,000 Schulich scholarship for students of science, technology, engineering or mathematics.  Application deadline: Friday, January 23rd.

Grade 12s: any online courses required to complete your grad program must be completed by April 15th, 2015 if you plan to attend grad ceremony. Please meet with Mr. Choo if you are uncertain of your grad status.

PLUMBING:  Plumbers are the ones who install, repair and maintain the pipes, fixtures and other plumbing equipment that we depend on every day. Sidney Plumbing is looking for a work experience student with a keen interest in the Plumbing trade. Please see Ms. McNamee for application details.

NAVAL RESERVE HMCS Malahat: TUESDAY JANUARY 20, 2015 – NAVAL RESERVES DISPLAY AT PARKLAND, @ LUNCH, front foyer.
