MEETINGS, PRACTICES, announcements, EVENTS:

Any students interested in participating the Parkland Mountain Bike team and the School Bike League should go to an important meeting today in the woodshop at lunch with Mr. Caddell."

LIST OF ALL those students who have qualified for their GRAD TRANSITIONS interview, with all paperwork in order, is now posted on GRAD BOARD. If your name does not appear on this list, please see front office, Ms. Hackman or Mr. Buckham, ASAP, to find out what's missing!

Grade 10 students who wrote English 10 Provincial exam in February can check exam results online. If assistance is needed, please see one of the counsellors.

ART CONTEST FOR REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: Local Victoria Eye care and laser surgery office seeking beautiful unique artwork, landscapes and abstract landscapes, for grand opening. Three prizes: $500, and two @ $250.  Deadline May 1, 2015; Inquiries and contest rules: Victoria Eye 250-598-9984.

LOCAL FUNDRAISER "Bowl for Kids Sake” - Register a team and help Big Brothers Big Sisters raise funds for children. April 12 at Miracle Lanes in Sidney. See front foyer announcement board for full details.

PARKLAND PANTHERS TRACK AND FIELD TEAM:
Meet #2 is this Wednesday, April 1st ( it's no joke!) from  4 to -6 p.m.. There is a list of events posted on the door of Ms. McName's office.
Ben S, Arriane S, Sayril S, Lexie F, Micheala P, Emma D are all competing & need to see. McNamee Wednesday April 1 @ lunch. Anyone else interested in joining the TEAM it's not too late! We are looking for more people to join! See Ms. McNamee.

STAFF AND STUDENTS: Register as part of the Parkland Pant'ers TC 10K or Half Marathon team. Register online at www.tc10k.ca. Please see Ms. Dibblee for more info. PLEASE NOTE: We need 2 more runners to be official. Students and staff can register online for $25 at  tc10k.ca. The deadline is March 31st.

Congratulations to the Parkland Track and Field Team. - It was a great first meet at UVIC for our athletes! Jacquelaine Gaby was 1st in the 1500 m race walk. Ben Sammons was 1st in the 300 meter hurdles. Tomas Kalyniuk had a Personal Best in the 3000 meters. Sayril Silaya was 1st in Triple Jump. Well Done Panther Athletes!!

We are doing our Parkland Terry Fox Run on April 13th at 9:00 & 2:00. PE classes in A and D block and any other interested students welcome to participate. Educational Facility Managers Association of B.C. offering 4 $1000 bursaries. Deadline is April 30th.

LISA (The Lower Island Soccer Association)has 4 scholarships at $1000 each. Deadline: April 30th.

Two Bert & Greta Quartermaine Badminton Scholarships available at $500. Deadline is May 1st.

Rotary Clubs of Saskatoon and Rotaract present "Adventures in Technology”: a tour of Canada's research facilities & corporations for students interested in science, engineering or technology. Registration fee: $350 including food and social events, plus travel expenses to and from Saskatoon. Application deadline is May 14,.
