Wednesday September 23, 2015 - it's official, it's fall!

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS, MEETINGS, EVENTS

Course changes are now over for semester one.  Ms. Chicanot has gone through the waitlist  and was able to place some students into requested courses.  Priority was given to requests that involved grad or post-secondary requirements. Listen for your name to be called over the announcements if your timetable has changed.  If you still have a problem with your timetable, please see one of the counsellors.


TODAY IS CLUBS DAY IN FRONT FOYER! COME AND SIGN UP FOR THE CLUB OR CLUBS YOU ARE INTERESTED IN.

There will be a short meeting for all journalism students today at lunch in the Learning Commons. If you can't make it today because of a conflict please contact Mr. Wong to arrange a time to setup your Yearbook account.

The mezz will now be open at lunch, Monday to Thursday, for PE make-ups and for students to work out. Students must be in full PE strip and should enter through the back door of the mezz. A big thank you to Mrs. Beaucamp for making this happen!



     

      ATTENTION all grade 9 and 10 boys.  Soccer practice tomorrow after school, Thursday September 24.

Local Sidney Cafe looking for someone to work on Saturdays. See Ms. McNamee ASAP!


Local Tutoring Job  Interested in being a teacher??  Kumon is looking for someone with  strong English skills, reliability, solid work habits, and a desire to work with students ranging in age from 3 years and up.  Hours of work would be immediately after school to about 6 p.m. every Monday and Thursday. See Ms. McNamee ASAP


Interested in being a Dental Hygienist, Assistant or Dentist or Office Administrator? Mature and responsible grade 11 or 12 student needed to work in dentist office, filing and preparing charts. This would be 3 hours a day, 4 days a week, so you  need  an open schedule and strong committed. See Ms. McNamee asap!

MATH HELP CENTRE:  open Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays - after school until 4 p.m. for extra math help. Meet in room 105 for help with any math course you are taking this semester.
