Parkland will be voting this Thursday and Friday in B and C Blocks, as well as at lunch.
Please, come down to the Foyer on Wed at Lunch to meet the Candidates for election.
We will have Parkland Teachers playing the role of our federal leaders so you can get
informed on how to vote. The most important thing is that we get
as many students to participate and cast their vote!

First annual Vancouver Island College Event (VICE) will take place today right after school TUESDAY OCTOBER 13, 2015 AT SMU (ST.
MICHAEL'S UNIVERSITY SCHOOL) senior school campus. Institutions to be
represented include: UCLA, UC SANTA BARBARA, UC SANTA CRUZ, LOYOLA,
UNIVERSITY OF OREGON, TUFTS, SEATTLE UNIVERSITY & others. Sign up on
Mr. Choo's door if you'd like a ride to St. Michael's. Please note: you
have to provide your own transport home.

Soldier for a Day program: SATURDAY
NOVEMBER 7, 2015. Introduces the role of the Canadian Armed Forces -
Army Reserve in Canada and internationally. Worth 5 hours work
experience. Students grades 10 to 12 should see Ms McNamee for more

MEZZANINE IN GYM AREA: now open at lunch, Monday to Thursday, for P.E. make-ups
and for students to work out. Students must be in full PE strip and
