Jacqueline (Parkland Grad 2015) is taking the year off to volunteer in Jerusalem.
"I am enjoying my time working in the food bank. My days consist of building food pallets and packing food bags as well as going on a delivery every now and again. On my last delivery we took food bags to Holocaust survivors and it was wonderful to see the look of joy and happiness on their faces when I gave them their food. Some of them told us their stories about how they escaped death, but some had lost very close relatives, which was heartbreaking to hear."
