Student Wanted:
Have you always wanted to work with farm animals? Are you curious about the gentle, sweet alpaca and want to experience them first hand? Bailiwick farm (across the street from the old McTavish Road School) is looking for a helper to perform ongoing general farm and pasture maintenance, routine herd health and annual shearing assistance. The job commitment would be a minimum of 2 days/week, approximately 2-3 hours per day. Shifts are flexible. Rate will be $12/hour.
The ideal candidate will be a student between the ages of 12-17 who is not afraid to work hard and independently, or of getting dirty. You must love animals and be willing to learn and use our methods of respectful, gentle handling.
