PROVINCIAL TEST SCORES ARE NOW OUT. You can log into the website with your PERSONAL EDUCATION NUMBER, or
see your subject teacher. If you are unhappy with your results, talk to your teacher immediately to review the test and talk about options.

If you sat the English 12 exam in January and would like to review your exam to learn why you got the mark you did, please see Ms. Chicanot by Friday March 4th to sign the Review Request form.

ATTENTION ALL GRADS:  2016 GRAD TRANSITIONS BOOKLET is on the Parkland website. See: students / grad page / grad transitions. Four buttons, or sections, to be completed.  READ INSTRUCTIONS carefully, and give full AND TYPED answers throughout. All 2016 GRADS must complete BOOKLET AND 30 HR WORK EXPERIENCE and hand in by  MARCH 11 DEADLINE - before GT interview will be scheduled in April. Sample questions for your interview preparation, and schedule for GT interviews TBA later. REMEMBER: YOUR DEADLINE IS FRIDAY MARCH 11!

VIDEO COMPETITION: looking for original and creative video production that explores the topic of impairment in the workplace, and what workers and employers can do to address it. Contest open to all student in B.C. enrolled in greades 8 to 12. One video will be forwarded to national youth safety video contest for high school students. ROYAL CANADIAN NAVY "SAILOR FOR A DAY" - March 23, 2016 - at spring break! Experience ridged hull inflatable boat operation; learn about rich history of the Navy and Navy Reserve; practice skills sets in sea survivial and life raft training - see Ms. McNamee for details on application ASAP. 

GLOBAL VILLAGE: volunteer as a Canadian buddy over Spring Break through Global Village, Victoria - assisting Japanese teens with their English, guiding new friends around city for sightseeing, sports and culture. See Ms. McNamee for further information.

COAST CAPITAL SAVINGS YOUTH TEAM: APPLICATIONS CLOSE ON MARCH 31, 2016 - work part-time in a branch as a service representative; represent Coast Capital at community events; complete volunteer hours for literacy - and perhaps find yourself in a great job while going to college or university later. MATH HELP CENTRE:  The Math Help Centre will be running this semester on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays after school until 4 p.m. Please come to room 105 for help with any math course that you are taking this semester.

MEZZANINE IN GYM AREA: now open at lunch, Monday to Thursday, for P.E. make-ups and for students to work out. Students must be in full PE strip and should enter through the back door of the mezz. thank you to Mrs. Beaucamp for making this happen!
