HISTORIC PANTHER CUP 2016: Congratulations to everyone involved with our Panther Cup this year! What a day last Friday, and WHAT A GAME! A big shout out goes to our amazing hockey academy students who ended up winning an exciting, hard-fought and skill-laden hockey tilt with our illustrious teachers...the two squads "poured their hearts into it" and played to a final score of 12 to 9, with a game that lasted over the course of 4 periods!
There was a point at the start of the 4th period where the teachers tied things up at 9 - 9 and TECHNICALLY the game should have ended there, but we'll give the students their glory, and more importantly, their win, as they definitely deserved it!
Also,
a huge congrats goes out to all of the fabulous folks who helped make
the game a reality, from our wonderful leadership students who quite
literally "ran the show" to all the helpers who sewed on nameplates to
the jerseys, to the fans in the stands who made the effort to come out
and watch...THANK YOU ALL for making the game a huge success!
