Ruby Red Farms is hiring staff for its blueberry packing line. Work includes inspection of berries, packing of pint blueberries and packing of bulk berries in 5 and 10 pound boxes. This job requires a sustained effort of repetitive tasks. The environment is friendly and sociable. The packing house runs up to 7 days a week. Both full and part time positions are available. Preference is given to candidates looking for full time work for 6 or 7 days per week. Part time staff must commit to working a full shift for specific days of the week. Work day will start at 8 45 am. The farm is located in Deep Cove North Saanich. We pick up at the bus stop at the McTavish Park and Ride near Sidney on the Pat Bay Highway for those that take a bus to work. Work days vary from 6 to 10 hours depending on picking conditions.

The job starts around early July and runs 7-8 weeks. Rate of pay is $11.00 per hour. 


There is no available time off during the harvest season so please apply only if you are able to work for the full duration of the season.
