Congratulations to our Track & FIeld Team who had a fantastic day at Wednesday's meet @ UVIC:

Ben Sammons won Top Jr Male in the City for Track and he was golden yesterday too breaking a city record in 300m hurdles with an impressive time of 41.96 - he also won the Jr Boys 400m and 100m hurdles.

Other highlights include:

Syril Carmichael 1st in Long Jump, 2nd in 100m and 2nd in 200m hurdles

Josh Carmichael 4th in Javelin

Cooper Langard 6th in 400 and 800m hurdles

Pauline Pastor 2nd in Javelin & 3rd in Shot Put

Sophie Weil 3rd in Javelin & 3rd in High Jump and 5th in 200m hurdles

Michaela Pennell set a personal best in Javelin

Josh Newton also personal best in Discuc

Next week are the Island Finals and our relay teams will be back in action, good luck to everyone

SEASIDE MAGAZINE: TAKING IT TO THE STREET ROAD HOCKEY CHARITY EVENT FOR HELP FILL A DREAM FOUNDATION:

Location: Mary Winspear Centre on  Saturday, June 11th, 2016 -  3rd Annual “Taking it to the Street”. Proceeds provide services and support to Vancouver Island children who face life-threatening conditions by fulfilling their Dreams. Fun volunteer positions including: registration, time monitor, traffic, family fun, set-up, referree, cotton candy, groundskeeper, event marshall. See Ms. McNamee to VOLUNTEER..


UBC SUMMER SCIENCE PROGRAM welcomes applications from ABORIGINAL STUDENTS in grades 8 to 11. This program is for all those interested in health and science programs through UBC, including meeting Elders and role models. See Ms. McNamee for further information on how to apply.

MATH HELP CENTRE: running this semester on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays after school until 4 p.m. Please come to room 105 for help with any math course that you are taking this semester.

MEZZANINE IN GYM AREA: now open at lunch, Monday to Thursday, for P.E. make-ups and for students to work out. Students must be in full PE strip and should enter through the back door of the mezz. thank you to Mrs. Beaucamp for making this happen!
