Congratulations to the Parkland Dancers on a successful showcase Tuesday night and a huge thank you to all the Parkland Staff and Students who came out to show their support. It was a fun night of celebrating and showcasing dance at Parkland, wonderful performances by all!

ATTENTION ALL ATHLETES: if you have not yet received your ATHLETIC BANQUET ticket for TONIGHT Thursday June 9 as yet - please see Mr. Sutton ASAP!

Applications for the Academic Honours Seminar are available at the office for next year's grade 11 and 12 students.  Please return your application to the office by Friday June 17th at the latest.  See Ms. Chicanot if you have questions.


Ms. Chicanot is looking for 6 Grade 11 students to be helpers at the Grad Ceremony at Uvic on Tuesday June 28th.  Could you please leave your name with Ms. Ford at the front office if you are interested.

Yoga Before School is officially finished for the year. Students who still need to complete their Class Observation assignments can hand them in to Ms. Dibblee in the gym or at the front office until June 20th.


CONGRATULATIONS to the Parkland Sailing Team for coming in 3rd place at the Discovery Regatta, and 4th place at the Vancouver Island School Sailing League. Good winds, and lots of close races - way to go, team!

SEASIDE MAGAZINE: TAKING IT TO THE STREET ROAD HOCKEY CHARITY EVENT FOR HELP FILL A DREAM FOUNDATION:

@ Mary Winspear Centre - Saturday, June 11th, 2016 -  3rd Annual “Taking it to the Street”. Proceeds provide services and support to Vancouver Island children facing life-threatening conditions by fulfilling their Dreams. Fun volunteer positions including: registration, traffic, family fun, set-up, referree, cotton candy, groundskeeper, event marshall. See Ms. McNamee to VOLUNTEER.

MEZZANINE IN GYM AREA: @ lunch, Monday to Thursday, for P.E. make-ups and for students to work out. Students must be in full PE strip and should enter through the back door of the mezz.
