GRAD NOTICE: All guest forms that have been submitted for the Dinner/Dance and Aftergrad have now been approved.  Grads and guests should now purchase their tickets for the Dinner/Dance and Aftergrad at front office today or Monday.

All 1st & 2nd semester CAFETERIA STUDENTS wanting to write FOOD SAFE level one, please pick up review package @ front office. You will need your food safe books this week. Review AND write: TODAY THURSDAY JUNE 16 in BLOCK D.

PIZZA SALES @ LUNCH TODAY = thanks SENIOR BOYS BASKETBALL team! $2.50 per slice!


Any international students who are graduating or leaving, who did not attend the farewell,  please see Ms. Jocelyne to pick up your certificate and gift.


Hello Parkland: Time to return any outstanding books, textbooks, calculators, or other items you have borrowed from the Library this year.  Overdue notices will be handed out on Friday. Any student with any outstanding items will not be able to get their yearbook. Please see one of the Librarians to see what you still have out on your account.


NOTICE TO ALL WORK EXPERIENCE STUDENTS: MS. MCNAMEE IS AWAY. PLEASE TURN IN ANY AND ALL WORK EXPERIENCE TO MS. FORD AT FRONT OFFICE, OR CAREER CENTRE before the end of this week, for final marks.


A reminder to Ms. Frith's block C and D dance classes - we will be meeting in the gym all week - theatre is now closed.

PARKLAND GIRLS SOCCER MEETING: FRIDAY JUNE 17 @ LUNCH, ROOM 108, MRS. ANDULAJEVIC'S ROOM - for all the girls who played or future girls who would like to play next year. There is an exciting trip being planned to Ottawa and if you would like to spend Canada's 150th birthday in the Nation's Capital, then come out to info session at lunch Friday.

FRIDAY JUNE 17 - TAG FOR NEW TIMETABLES, LIBRARY OVERDUES, LOCKER CLEAN-OUT! Please recycle any school supplies, binders, or locks you no longer need - turn in to front office for redistribution in September, and many thanks!


Applications for the Academic Honours Seminar are available at the office for next year's grade 11 and 12 students.  Please return your application to the office by Friday June 17th at the latest.  See Ms. Chicanot if you have questions.




IMPORTANT - ALL STUDENTS:  Due to storage space issues on school computer servers,  all data on student home folders must be deleted each school year end.  If students have any data that they want to keep, currently stored on school servers, they must copy the files to their own devices BEFORE June 29, 2016.  Data will be deleted on that date.


ATTENTION GRADS: WESTERN SPEEDWAY HAS DONATED FREE TICKETS TO GRADS WHO MIGHT WANT TO ATTEND
THE MID-SEASON CHAMPIONSHIPS @ Western Speedway on FRIDAY July 1, 2016. Come to front office to pick up your free ticket. Event begins @ 5:30 with qualifying rounds; 6 p.m. meet and greet the drivers; 6:30 p.m. FINAL RACES BEGIN.

Ms. Chicanot is looking for 6 Grade 11 students to be helpers at the Grad Ceremony at Uvic on Tuesday June 28th.  Could you please leave your name with Ms. Ford at the front office if you are interested.

ALL INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS:

ALL International students must ensure all textbooks and library books are returned, and any incidental school fees paid, including field trips or team uniforms. Please ensure this is taken care of before you leave for the summer.


ATHLETICS, SPORTS TEAMS, TEAM MEETINGS

Yoga Before School is officially finished for the year. Students assignments can hand  in assignments to Ms. Dibblee in the gym or at the front office until June 20th.

The Sidney Rotary Club has a $1000 scholarship available to a Parkland graduate that has been accepted to a post secondary program this fall.  Deadline is noon on Tuesday, June 21st.  See Mr. Choo for an application form.
