ALL STUDENTS: THE UVIC MENS BASKETBALL TEAM will be playing a game at Parkland on SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 24 @ 7 P.M. This is the 2nd ANNUAL BASKETBALL GAME hosted at Parkland, with proceeds going to the Sidney Food Bank. There is no cost to attend but we are asking for food donations at the door. Bring your friends for a terrific night of BASKETBALL!
ALL SENIOR STUDENTS: IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN DESIGN AND CIVIC ENGAGEMENT, a meeting is being held next Tuesday September 27 from 9 to 4 p.m. at the Pier Hotel to plan what the downtown Sidney streetscape will look like. Please let Ms. Chicanot know if you are interested in attending this all day workshop on Tuesday September 27.

FIRE / RESCUE CADET CAMP INFO SESSION WED SEPT 21 - Wonder what it is like to run into a building that everyone is running out of? Dream of using an extrication tool to cut up a car and extricate a victim? Want to make a difference? Southern Gulf Islands Secondary is hosting the Fire/Rescue Cadet Camp March 27 to April 1st. Camp Participants will be challenged in the basic elements of Fire fighting, Search and Rescue, Medical First Response and so much more! See Ms. Mac ASAP if you are interested.
There is an information day on Wednesday September 21st at Gulf Island Secondary. If you would like to attend, you must get in touch with Ms. MacNamee asap to register and arrange transportation.
