This year's theme: Global Unity - Social, Political and Economic Protection of Vulnerable Peoples. Please contact your teachers for further information and to arrange permission to attend this special conference.

Explore scholarships and early admission to universities and colleges, as well as passion projects. If you are enrolled already, or have questions about this class, see Mr. Mueller in the Library.
Reminder to all students applying for the $100,000 LORAN scholarship to start their online applications now. If you would like to be considered as an applicant sponsored by Parkland, the deadline for emailing your cover and reference letters to Ms. Chicanot and Mr. Choo is 3:00 pm on Friday, October 14th. Big congratulations to the Senior Boys Volleyball team that competed at Mt Doug. Parkland won 5 of 6 games, beating Vic High two straight, then Mt Doug two straight. Final match was against a very good Belmont team, and they split two games. Good luck this week in Nanaimo at VIU, where the team will play 5 teams Friday, and 5 on Saturday.
Junior Boys Soccer team took the field against Claremont yesterday. The team played very hard, especially the defensive line. Goals were scored by Ren Vagay, Jon Cowley and Brayden Born. Great work team!
