Solider for A Day- Saturday November 5th
This is a one day event intended to give an interactive introduction to the various career opportunities available in the Canadian Armed Forces with a focus on the Army reserve.
The programme starts with an introduction to the facilities and then basic military concepts such as drill (marching) and dress and deportment. They will learn and experience a wide range of military equipment. They will be introduced to weapons, vehicles, training equipment and military rations. We will also be introducing the students to some of our unique tactics and training. It will end with them receiving a briefing on education and employment opportunities available as well as how to join the Canadian Armed Forces.
