A huge congratulations to the Sr. Boys Soccer team as they are the new Colonist Shield Champions. The team worked very hard to come back from a 1 goal deficit to defeat Stellys 4-2. Ben scored our first goal, while Abbraao scored on a PK to make it 2 to 1 early in the second half. Leo scored to make it 3 to 1, and Jason netted Parkland's 4th. Great game team and what an amazing season! Thanks to those who came out to watch, the team appreciated it.

METAL RECYCLING BINS HAVE ARRIVED: Please place metals for recycling IN THE BIN, back teacher parking lot near the roadway. Money raised will go to support sports teams and the hockey program. Thanks in advance for your support and junk metal! Bin will be on site for TWO WEEKS ONLY - to Thursday NOVEMBER 10, 2016.

The Observatory is hosting a volunteer information and appreciation evening on Friday, November 18th at 7:00 pm with free pizza, refreshments, and the opportunity to meet and socialize with other volunteers, board members, and people generally interested in STEM careers and research.
This is a great opportunity for students who are interested in science, and more particularly astronomy or astrophysics.
