HANDBAGS FOR HOPE: Clean out your closets and donate any new or gently used handbags, scarves and jewelry to help fund CHILDHOOD CANCER RESEARCH. Donations accepted at school front office until February 17. Your donation will help local families whose children are diagnosed with cancer. Thank you!

Registration is now open for this year's TC 10K on Sunday, April 30th. Parkland students and staff are encouraged to register online at www.tc10k.ca to be part of the Parkland Pant'ers Island Farms School Team. Early bird registration is only $30 if you sign up before Feb 15th. 


Reminder to any grade 9 and 10 students that signed up for the Fresh Minds Symposium on Wednesday February 15 to get your consent forms and bus fare to Mr. Choo this week.

Grade 12s interested in the Schulich and BC Excellence scholarships should contact Mr. Choo this week.  The deadline for submitting your application for consideration as Parkland's nominee is Friday January 20, 2017.

All students in Psychology 12 and History 12 next semester need to get their applications in to Ms. Anderson ASAP. Law 12 is no longer a dual credit course, please see Ms. Anderson if you have questions.

Parkland's Musical Theatre Program announces the upcoming show: "Guys and Dolls" - opening WEDNESDAY February 1 to SATURDAY, Feb. 4, 2017!   Tickets $14 each (reserved seating). English Language Learners Big Buddies -- Saanich School District and the Intra-Cultural Association.
Last year 15 Parkland students volunteered their time at North Saanich to help Elementary students, who were English Language Learners.
This year we are looking for 10-15 students willing to volunteer their time after school one day a week for 6 weeks.
This is an amazing opportunity to give back to your community and make meaningful connections with the young children of Sidney Elementary.
