A reminder to those  leadership students going with Mr. Mickelson and Ms. Frith to North Saanich on  Wednesday to please meet in the front foyer at 8:45 . Don't forget to wear your leadership shirts!


TODAY - WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 22 is Pink Shirt Day! Show your support and FIGHT BACK AGAINST BULLYING by wearing your pink shirt  as a symbol of unity. Don't miss out! BULLYING STOPS HERE!


ATTENTION ALL PARKLAND FIGURE SKATERS: We are trying to get a club together. If you are a Figure Skater in the community, please come to a meeting with Ms. Thompson in the Foods Room at lunch on Thursday, February 23. All skill levels welcome!


There is a meeting on Thursday at Lunch in Career Center for ALL students interested in joining the Track and Field team this spring.

PUBLISHING OPPORTUNITY FOR STUDENTS: NEW MAGAZINE - FLOCK - looking for submissions for second issue on Self-Care and Community Support - make a piece and contribute it! See Career Centre posters for website, including information on payment of $25 each for art and literature contributions!

Registration now open for TC 10K. Early bird registration only $30 before Feb 28th DEADLINE. Race is taking place on Sunday, April 30th. Parkland students and staff are encouraged to register online at www.tc10k.ca to be part of the Parkland Pant'ers Island Farms School Team.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES COMING UP:

SUBMIT ORIGINAL "SAFETY AT WORK" VIDEO, AND WIN A CASH PRIZE: WorkSafe B.C. looking for creative video productions that explore the topic of speaking up for safety at work. Open to students, grades 8 to 12. One video forwarded to national competition. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: Tuesday March 28, 2017. MATH HELP CENTRE:
Monday and Wednesday after school: 3 to 4 p.m., Rm 201; and Thursday morning before school - 7:15 to 8:15 IN Rm 112.
