Got Talent? Audition sign up sheet for the PARKLAND TALENT SHOW on Wednesday April 26th is now up on the Grad Board, located in the front foyer near the office. Show open to all students, all grades, all talents! Proceeds from the show will support the Parkland Grads of 2017. Sign up now! 


Want to win an Ipad?  Sidney Public Library is having Spring Break Challenge for Teens. See ANNOUNCEMENTS BOARD in front foyer for challenge rules, entry details. INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS:  International students in grades 9, 10 and 11 - there will be a field trip to Vancouver on Wednesday April 12. Deadliine for applications is today, see Ms. McRae in the counselling area.

VICTORIA LAVENDAR FARM: Are you great with customer service, do you love animals and people? This position will ensure the yoga program registration process is a success. Same person will also run the gift shop, and be involved in caring for birds and animals. Maturity, honesty, and cash register experience a must; people skills and a love of animals important. Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday, from 9 to 5, from April 15 to Labour Day, @$13 per hour plus vacation pay. See Ms. McNamee for further information.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES COMING UP:

VINTAGE WEDDING DRESS FASHION SHOW: 15 models needed for this fun fundraiser. 2 models who own their own suits are also needed to accompany the models in gowns to the stage. If you want to try modelling, this will be a great experience. Fundraiser for Central Saanich Citizen Association on May 28 - see Ms. McNamee for further information.

PREPARE AND SERVE @ SUNDAY SOCIAL: Central Saanich Senior Citizen Association in Brentwood Bay looking for volunteers to prep and serve, last Sunday each month,  March to June, from 1 to 4 p.m. See Ms. McNamee to volunteer.


SUBMIT ORIGINAL "SAFETY AT WORK" VIDEO, AND WIN A CASH PRIZE: WorkSafe B.C. looking for creative video productions that explore the topic of speaking up for safety at work.
