ALL BADMINTON PLAYERS: Drop-in badminton club will now be held on

Now
that we settling into our school routines, it is time for all student
drivers to ensure that their vehicles are properly registered with the
school. If you require parking in the student lot, you must register
your vehicle this week, and display your Parkland parking sticker. Come
to the front office for parking request forms.
MUSIC FOR MEXICO:
PLEASE
HELP US RAISE MONEY FOR RED CROSS EARTHQUAKE RELIEF FOR MEXICO: come to
LIVE BENEFIT CONCERT on Thursday September 28 @ lunch in the theatre.
Funds raised go to support earthquake victims in Mexico. Come along to
have a fun lunchhour and be entertained by talented Parkland musicians
like the Bankes brothers. It will cost only a toonie for admission and
the funds are for a great cause! A number of very talented Parkland
students will rock the house! See the great posters all round the school
- don't miss this one!
INTERNATIONAL
STUDENTS: Whistler Ski Trip is from December 6 to 8th. See Ms. McRae
for field trip applications at break or at lunch. There is space for
just 30 Parkland students, so don't delay!
ALL
STUDENTS: WORK EXPERIENCE 12A AND 12B REGISTRATION DEADLINE: This is a
reminder to all students interested in taking Work Experience 12A or
12B, the registration deadline is September 30th. Employed students, or
students volunteering, wishing to achieve work experience credit this
year must see Ms. McNamee to register in the course ASAP! If WEX is
already on your timetable, you also must see Ms. McNamee to activate
your course work before September 30!
OVER
THE NEXT TWO WEEKS, the Leadership students will be collecting TOONIES
FOR TERRY and TOUR DE ROCK in Block C. Please consider bringing in
change to donate to both these worthy fundraisers!
