SheBiz Victoria: free day-long event for girls in grades 9 – 11 offering unique
access to business and STEM leaders, and exposure to diverse and
exciting career opportunities available to women. Stats
Canada reports that female high school students earn better grades
in STEM subjects than their male counterparts, but are underrepresented in these programs in university
and the workforce. SheBiz will help
bridge this gap by providing young girls with information on careers in
business, science, technology and math before these students are facing big
