CLUB MEETING: today - Thursday January 11 @ lunch, Room 111, to start
preparing for the MOCK TRIAL COMPETITION on Law Day in April. All
interested students are welcome to attend.
IMPORTANT CAREER EXPLORATION EVENT COMING TO PARKLAND:
MONDAY JANUARY 15, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for students; 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. for parents.
Event
allows students to try skills for different careers in demand across
B.C. Interactive activity stations include: accounting, welding,
carpentry, and more. Students can access career info, tools and
services, and apply life experiences to career planning.
Parents
may attend after school, and early evening. FIND YOUR FIT is part of
B.C.'s Skills for Jobs Blueprint commitment to deliver the skilled
workforce needed in our growing economy. This
event is FREE to our SD 63 school community. Parkland welcomes students
and parents to explore the program, and discover how to find that
perfect fit for a wonderful career!

Exam
schedule is now posted on the main page of our Parkland website; please
ensure that you check to see when your exams are scheduled. More
importantly to all students - if you have any exam conflicts listed -
two or more exams running at the same time - PLEASE CHECK with your
teachers as well as Mr. Buckham to have a plan put in place for you to
write one of your conflicting exams at another time during exam week.
