INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS: Meeting at lunch in the theatre, TODAY MONDAY FEBRUARY 26 FOR ALL STUDENTS GOING ON MOUNT WASHINGTON trip. A reminder to all students going on this trip: The bus will be leaving @ 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday February 28.

PINK SHIRT DAY: ANTI-BULLYING DAY COMING UP - WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 28TH is PINK SHIRT DAY! Let's show our support for anti-bullying by wearing pink! On Wednesday during Block B we will be having leadership students coming around to each classroom to determine which one is the PINKIEST! The prize will be timbits for the class. So we encourage you to dress in as much PINK as possible! Don't have any pink? No problem! Wednesday at lunch we will be giving out PINK RIBBONS so you can show your support!

SOUTHERN VANCOUVER ISLAND SKILLS CANADA REGIONAL COMPETITION - DISCOVER TRADES & TECHNOLOGY EVENT: WEDNESDAY, MARCH 7, 2018 @ CAMOSUN COLLEGE - INTERURBAN CAMPUS. GIRLS SOCCER TRY-OUTS FOR GRADES 9 TO 12 will be WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 28 in the GYM from 2:15 to 3:30 p.m. Please see Ms. Dibblee if you can not attend, and want to play this year.



INTRAMURAL SOCCER is starting up soon. You can pick up a registration form from the PE office or main office. Get your team roster into Mr. Sutton by March 1st!


TIMES COLONIST 10k: Registration now open for race, April 29, 2018. Team name is: Parkland Panthers in  Island Farms School Challenge. For customized team t-shirts, we need 10 team members by noon Friday, April 6, 2018. See Ms. Dibblee for info.

1. COAST CAPITAL SAVINGS YOUTH GET IN INTERN PROGRAM: unique year-long experience combining real worl paid experience with public community events and volunteer hours. For students entering grades 11 or 12, this can be a great lead-in to financial services education and employment. See Ms. McNamee for application details - deadline April 11.18.

2. STAR CINEMA IS HIRING! Must be available to work weekends and week nights, during spring break, and summer. Flexibility required for shift coverage; customer service training, math comfort, and  cleaning experience all considered assets. Perks of this job include movie watching with a guest on your time off!

3.  LONGVIEW FARMS URGENTLY NEEDS DAFFODIL PICKERS. PIECEWORK @ $20 PER BOX. An average picker does 4 to 5 per day; good pickers over 10 boxes per day! See Ms. McNamee for further information.

5.  TERN PLACE, NORTH SAANICH - raking leaves and cedar branches - students need transportation. Four hours, @ $15 per hour.
