The Marine Repair class visited the Van Isle Marina Yacht Park last week and got a tour of the boatyard. Students were able to see boats being painted, hauled and blocked and got to see a launch too!
The yacht park manager is interested in hiring students to work in the yacht park this summer and there is a position available at the fuel dock. Applications are on the Van Isle Marina website. Starting wage in the Yacht Park is $17/hr! For more information, visit their website.
