This all-day conference has 50 exhibitors in the "Live Your Dreams" information area, keynote speaker, workshop sessions, lunch, and  swag bags! Students bussed to and from the venue. Don't miss this amazing opportunity to attend presentations which will inspire and enlighten! FEMALE FUTURE LEADERS SPECIAL FREE EVENT: Achieve Anything Foundation's Operation: THIS IS YOU! DAY SAIL ON A WARSHIP WITH THE ROYAL CANADIAN NAVY! Saturday October 20, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please note: check-in time may be adjusted. This day sail and tour for young women includes SAR helicopter debut, tours of ship duty stations, crew quarters and operational equipment, RCAF joint search and rescue demonstration, ship firefighting simulation, and demonstration of warship's manoeuvring capabilities. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE SENIOR BOYS SOCCER TEAM who tied Esquimalt 5 - 5. Great game by Joseph and Pat at center bac.  Alexandro scored a hat trick while Jon and Carlos netted one each. Great work team!


REMINDER TO ALL INTRAMURAL STUDENTS: be in class @ lunch this Thursday, in the gym!

PARKLAND CROSS COUNTRY TEAM will practice Wednesday and Friday after school at 2:15 this week. New runners still welcome. There is one more league race this season! See Ms. Dibblee for information.


JUNIOR AND SENIOR GIRLS BASKETBALL TRYOUTS - FRIDAY OCTOBER 12, from  6:30 to 8 p.m., and SUNDAY OCTOBER 14, from 3 to 5 p.m. ALL PLAYERS MUST ATTEND TRYOUTS TO MAKE THE TEAMS!


Come out this Saturday October 13 and Sunday October 14 to Elk Lake to watch our Parkland ROWERS complete in the October Sprints Invitational!

OKTOBERFEST SATURDAY OCTOBER 17 - 2 volunteers needed, from 4:45 p.m. to 8 p.m.; show guests coat rack and tables; serve water and coffee; clear. Dinner free for volunteers! See Ms. McNamee for further details.
