Monday October 29, Parkland will be hosting 85 Japanese students - KICHIJO GIRLS for the day. Musical theatre students will be the buddies. PLEASE GIVE OUR INTERNATIONAL JAPANESE VISITORS A WARM PARKLAND WELCOME!


FRENCH CLUB will be joining the Games Club today at lunch in Room 206. Everyone welcome! Hope to see you there!


ALL SENIOR BOYS SOCCER PLAYERS please meet in the GYM today at lunch!


THIS WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 31 IS HALLOWEEN, and there will be a costume contest happening in the theatre at lunch! Prizes will be awarded for the scariest, most original, best group, couple, and best overall costumes. Show your Halloweeen spirit and dress up on Halloween. Even if you don't want to compete in the contest, come to the theatre at lunch Wednesday, you never know what treats might be in store for you!


PARKLAND CAFETERIA needs a few responsible and hard-working volunteers in A and C block. Earn volunteer hours towards graduation or credits. If you are thinking of working in the Food industry this would be great experience for you. Please see Ms. Chicanot or Mr. Buckham if you are interested.

CONGRATS to Cooper Langard and Taiga Okamoto who both qualifed for Provincials in the Senior Boys Cross Country Race at Beaver Lake. Cooper was 8th, and Taiga was 23rd in a race of 92 boys from across the Island. Jaylene Melling did an amazing job representing Parkland in the Senior Girls Race finishing off a strong first season as a Panther! Congratulations Panthers!
