GRAD PHOTO RETAKES: LAST DAY! only Monday February 4 remaining - please go ON-LINE with LIFETOUCH to make appointment. NOTE: all grads must have photo taken - whether you want a package of photos or not - these are used for the YEARBOOK.


REMINDER TO ALL GRADS: there will be an important GRAD COMMITTEE meeting at lunch today - Monday February 4 - in the Foods Room. If you are interested in Grad Committee but haven't attended yet - now is your chance. We need committed grads that will work harder to make this last semester of your grade 12 years a great one! 


TO ALL STAFF AND STUDENTS: plan to be in the Parkland Gym this coming Thursday February 7 to take in some exciting basketball action! Our SENIOR BOYS BASKETBALL TEAM is poised to take on St. Andrews in one of their final league game of the year at 7:30 p.m., just after the conclusion of our Parkland Community Open House. Dress in your Parkland colours, bring some noisemakers, and come out to cheer on the Panthers - hope to see you there!

SPORTS TEAMS IN ACTION THIS WEEK:  

SENIOR BOYS BASKETBALL TEAM won 60 to 59 with a last second foul shot by John Mark to give the boys a hard fought victory over Mt. Doug; Panthers now third place in the league. Come watch them play in the Spirit Game next Thursday! 


CONGRATULATIONS TO THE SENIOR GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAM who won their final regular league game - great winning streak girls! Keep up the good teamwork, and good luck with your Lower Islands Tournament at PCS, February 7, 8 and 9!

SIDNEY MUSEUM is looking for volunteers for LEGO DAY - FEBRUARY 17 AND 18, SHIFTS from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., or 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Assist children in building a mosaic from Lego. 


WANTED (ALIVE!) students for REACH PERFORMING COMPANY  - work with differently-abled youth and adults, weekly. Should have an interest in performing arts, working with a diverse and fun group of people. See Ms. McNamee for info.

TUTORIALS & COURSE WORK ASSISTANCE - ACADEMIC SUPPORT Semester 2! PLEASE CHECK START TIMES FOR AFTER SCHOOL!

1. TUTORIALS IN LEARNING CENTRE, ROOM 204:  SUPERVISED TUTORIAL IS AVAILABLE daily after school, TO CATCH UP ON SCHOOL WORK, & TO DO MISSED TESTS.  note: Wednesday & Friday tutorials are best for longer tests & assignments.

3. AFTER SCHOOL FRENCH has now been moved to Room 112, Wednesdays after school.
