Parkland Track and Field team had some fantastic results last week at the Island Championships
Cooper Langard- Sr. Boys
3rd in the 800m in a time of 2.02 and 5th in the 1500 m in 4.15---So fast!!
Taiga Okamoto-Sr Boys
6th in the 2000m Steeple Chase in a time of 6:50...he is so graceful at the water jump!!

11th in the 400 m
Alexis Van Den Bulk- Jr. GIrl
3rd in the 100 m in a time of 13.62, 3rd in the 200m, 5th in Discus with a throw of over 22 m, and 5th, as the anchor in the 4 X 100 m Relay
Blanc Ros- 11th in the 200m
Jaylyn Wolfe, Blanc Ros and Gaby Fernado 5th as members of the Jr. Girls 4 x 100 m
Peppe ( Jose), Carlos, Cooper and Taiga did the Sr. Boys 4 x 400 m---came in 6th!!!
Good luck to Cooper, Taiga, Alexis, Jaylyn, Blanc, and Gaby who are Provincial Bound for Track and Field May 30-June 1st in Kelowna BC.
