Wear your Halloween Costumes this Friday for a chance to get some free candy! We will be taking photo's by cohort at lunch to be featured in this years yearbook.
Enter the Halloween Pumpkin Carving Contest by sending pictures of your Jack-o-lanterns to either psspumpkinparty@gmail.com or on Instagram @psspumpkinparty . Top prize will go to the most creative, spookiest, and funny pumpkin- to be chosen by some of your teachers! Entries can be submitted from now until Nov 1 and winners will be announced on Monday Nov 2!
Ms. Chicanot is looking for a few students who would like to help with the Remembrance Day Recognition activities. Are you a cadet? Are you a musician who would like to play a song? Do you have a poem that you would like to read? Please submit your name at the office if you would like to participate.
Tomorrow Thursday, October 29 is Photo retake day 11:00-2:00 in the theatre foyer.
Although we will not be hosting our traditional, annual Terry Fox Run this year at Parkland, students are still encouraged to get out and complete the run on their own and/or donate to our school’s fundraising page. Former Parkland Student and UVic math degree holder Chloe Hegland will be hosting extra-help sessions for math after school on Wednesdays from 2:15 to 3:30. Students will need their own device and Zoom account to join, but can do so from the comfort of their home. Drop in once you are home after school whenever you need help working through problems, require a mini review lesson, or want help studying for a test. The credentials to join are:
