The Parkland Track 2021 campaign has been officially launched. You will notice posters in the school and around the community advertizing this campaign. We hope to raise enough money by June of next year to replace the track over the summer. Canadian Coast Guard College – Virtual Presentation – Dec. 10: Register for a virtual presentation hosted by the Canadian Coast Guard College, "Discover the Officer Training Program." The four-year Officer Training Program is one of the best marine training programs in the world, producing both Marine Engineering Officers and Marine Navigation Officers. Graduates of the CCGC receive a Canadian Coast Guard College Diploma, a Bachelor of Technology in Nautical Sciences, a Commercial Certification issued by Transport Canada, continued employment with the Canadian Coast Guard, and internationally recognized certification. After School Math Tutorial Now Running (Virtually!)
Former Parkland Student and UVic math degree holder Chloe Hegland will be hosting extra-help sessions for math after school on Wednesdays from 2:15 to 3:30. Students will need their own device and Zoom account to join, but can do so from the comfort of their home. Drop in once you are home after school whenever you need help working through problems, require a mini review lesson, or want help studying for a test. The credentials to join are:
