Monday April 26, 2021  ~  Day 2

Quarter 4 starts today - everyone in attendance all day. Bus Routes - Morning pick up will remain the same, to bring you to school. Starting April 27 -  Lunch time – return home from school – go to the bus loop right after your Block 1 class. After school buses run at regular time to take you home.

Parkland is excited to announce our Spring Succulent Plant Track Fundraiser (Chicks & Hens). Please call 250-655-2700 to order or come into the school to pay and pick up at the office.  All monies raised will be added to our Track 2021 campaign.  Thank you for supporting Parkland!

Student Cards are necessary for borrowing Library items starting in Quarter 4.  All students must present their Parkland ID to borrow Chromebooks and other materials. If you have lost your card, come and see Mr. Mueller for a replacement.

Are you interested in representing our community as a French ambassador? You must be a current Grade 10 or 11 student who is leadership oriented and enthusiastic about meeting other ambassadors from across the country during a virtual youth forum. Parents/Guardians/Caregivers of Grades 10 & 12 students are asked to completed a Ministry of Education Electronic Anonymous Student Learning Survey, anytime before April 30.

The Parkland Track 2021 campaign has been officially launched.  You will notice posters in the school and around the community advertizing this campaign.  We hope to raise enough money by June of this year to replace the track over the summer.  Please spread the word about this exciting new project and check out the website at www.parklandtrack2021.com .  There is a DONATE NOW button on the website for those interested in donating. We also have a Go Fund Me page. It will take a village to raise the money needed but we can do it!

Just a reminder that student drop off/pick up is in the parking lot by the tennis courts. Or you can use the bus loop.

Grads ceremony packages have been distributed. Please complete and return to the office by May 7.

The Grad lanyards are available at the office $5 each. We also have a few crewnecks and hoodies for sale, $45 & $50.

Are you thinking about life after high school? Our District Indigenous Post-Secondary Liaison Shane Hartman is at Parkland every Tuesday from 11:00am-12:00pm in the Cultural room to answer questions and help you with your Post-Secondary needs. After School Math Tutorial Running Virtually!
Former Parkland Student and UVic math degree holder Chloe Hegland will be hosting extra-help sessions for math after school on Wednesdays from 2:15 to 3:30. Students will need their own device and Zoom account to join, but can do so from the comfort of their home. Drop in once you are home after school whenever you need help working through problems, require a mini review lesson, or want help studying for a test. The credentials to join are:
