A great opportunity from IBM for students entering grades 7-12 to have some fun and learn some cool STEAM (Science, Engineering, Arts and Math) knowledge at summer camp. The virtual STEAM camp July 19-23 is free but registration is required.

Do you have any books from your childhood that you don't read anymore? Donate them! 1000 x 5 is an organization devoted to bringing the experience of reading to children who don't have access to books. They are looking for donations for ages 1-5 with good healthy themes and messages. There are boxes at the office and in the Learning Commons for your donations.

New Grade 9-12 Student COVID Survey: The Ministry wants to hear from grade 9-12 students about the impact of COVID-19 on their learning. This student survey is a voluntary and anonymous - survey link. The link will be open until June 30.

Year-End Thank You Video to Students: Premier John Horgan, Education Minister Jennifer Whiteside and Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry have prepared a short video to thank B.C. students, including graduates, for their hard work, determination, and resilience during this most challenging of school years.
Parkland's Concert Band participated in a festival earning a Superior Rating from the Vancouver Island Concert Band Festival and an invitation to the 2021-2022 Nationals, please enjoy their submission. Our Jazz band earned a Gold Standing in the West Coast Jazz Festival. Congratulations to all members of both bands and their incredible maestro!
