Tuesday, February 1, 2022 ~  Semester 2

Semester 2 began Monday.  Please make sure you are happy with your timetable. Students must attend all their classes today, then if necessary make an appointment with a counsellor if you need to change courses. Ms. Anderson - grades 9 & 10  Mr. Choo - grades 11 & 12.

Grade 9 immunization forms have been distributed, please complete them and return to the office asap. Thank you!

A reminder to students to return any overdue library books or Semester 1 textbooks to the Learning Commons.

Musical Theatre students have been busy rehearsing for our production of Cinderella, and we are now selling a limited number of tickets with the hope that we are allowed to perform in our theatre. Tickets are available through the Parkland box office and are $18.00 each. You can call 250-655-2736 to reserve with a credit card, or send money with your student. Per the health orders, we are currently not allowed to have an audience but this may change today when Dr. Bonnie Henry reassesses the situation.
Our show run is scheduled to begin Wednesday, February 2 and continue through to Friday, February 4. With safety in mind, we are planning to offer an online live-streaming viewing option (if our cast remains healthy) regardless of the provincial mandates so we can share our hard work with our community. We are optimistic, but realistic.

In the event that the live shows are cancelled, you will have the option to have your ticket purchase refunded, or you can donate the cost of the ticket to our program to help us pay for the rights and royalties of this show. Obviously, this is difficult news to relay and we are hopeful for the opportunity to perform for our friends and families, but it is out of our hands at this time. Live Streaming on ShowTix4U. The direct link to this event for you to purchase tickets is: https://www.showtix4u.com/event-details/60520

Shows Feb 2, 3, 4 at 7pm. Tickets are available to purchase up until the time of the event. Prices are: $15 Individual Viewer & $30 Household (2 or more).  Note: Showtix4U charges a small fee on each stream. Streams are only good for the night they are purchased and links are different for every purchaser and cannot be shared.  Proceeds from the show go toward the Parkland Secondary School Musical Theatre Program. Thank you for supporting our Musical Theatre Program!
