MEETINGS, PRACTICES, announcements, EVENTS:

Reminder to Stagecraft students - class is scheduled today after school. Please meet in the woodshop.

Book Club meets today TUESDAY DECEMBER 2 at lunchtime in the Learning Commons.

This is FOOD DRIVE MONTH @ Parkland! Please bring in donations for school-wide, by grade contribution to community, and prize winning competition!

First Nations brunch on Tuesday December 2nd, 2014 at 11:52 at North Saanich Middle School. The students will need to walk from Parkland at 11:40 to middle school. 

COATS FOR KIDS: COATS, HOODIES, SWEATERS, SOCKS, HATS, GLOVES – all being collected in front foyer box. Help keep our community warm – bring a donation!

TUESDAY DECEMBER 2 – PAC MEETING, 7 p.m.

WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 3 – early dismissal. Parent / Teacher interviews, p.m.

Post Secondary & Unique Opportunities Information Night being held @ CLAREMONT,  Wednesday, December 3rd from 7:00 - 9:00pm.  Presentations from UVic, Camosun & VIU take place in the Learning Commons. The mini fair for private colleges and unique opportunities will be in the student lounge. All SD 63 interested students and parents welcome to attend.

THURSDAY DECEMBER 4 – GRAD WINTER SOCIAL, 6 to 10 p.m.

KNITTING FOR THE HOMELESS: Living homeless is a hard reality.  Want to learn to knit? Join us  - Thursdays @ lunch, in RM 212. Help warm the homeless!

PING PONG CLUB MEETS EVERY TUESDAY AND THURSDAY at lunch in Room 208.

Junior Boys Basketball Win First Game of the Season
Congrats to our Junior Boys BBall team who won their first game of the season 49-42 over Vic High. The boys had a slow start, going down 12-0 in the first quarter, but they sorted things out by the halfway mark of the game and ended up going on a 20-2 run in the third.  Good luck team at their next games in the Spectrum XMas Tournament this coming Fri/Sat!!

Are you a basketball fan & need VOLUNTEER HOURS? On Dec 5/6, Parkland SR Boys Basketball Team are hosting a tournament at Parkland. They needSCOREKEEPERS!!  Training is provided.Games Friday and Saturday. See Ms. McNamee if you can help!

Attention all Girls Volleyball players, Uniforms are due back to Tommi ASAP. Cheques will be deposited December 5th.

TEX Trades Exploration Program: students interested in Trades Exploration Program - 5 month program offered by SD63 is a sampler of Welding, Carpentry, Plumbing and Electrical.
