Michael Ram was nominated for a Save On Foods "Amazing Kid" Scholarship and he was selected from a multitude of applicants.
He truly is an amazing kid who has given back so much to the community. The TV clip was only able to mention a third of his accomplishments in this segment. Some of Michael's accomplishments include being an advocate for mental health and being selected to attend week long symposium in Ottawa so that he could run subsequent workshops when he returned home. He has done volunteer work for the Canadian Kidney foundation, Sidney rotary club, Panorama Rec Center, Saanich Fair, coaching basketball at NSMS, Parkland Grad co-president, Grad Validictorian and student council. He was on the Parkland honour roll. He was an assistant captain of the senior boys volleyball team which won the lower island league and the Lower Island championships and participated in the provincial championships. Michael also won the "Hearts of the Community Scholarship". Thanks to all of you who had worked with Michael in his years at Parkland.
