Tuesday January 16,  2018 - WELCOME BACK EVERYONE!  note: end of Semester 1 coming soon...last day January 26th!

Announcement:  Hello Parkland, as we are at the end of the Semester, it's time to return your textbooks and books to the library!  All textbooks need to be returned before the start of Semester 2. You will not be able to get new textbooks for next semester's classes until you have returned all your overdues. Come and see us in the library to see what you still have out and need to return.  Be sure to remember to carry your Parkland ID!


ALL INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS: We have a very special gathering and acknowledgement this Friday JANUARY 19 AT 2 P.M. in the Theatre. This is a special farewell gathering for the any students who will be leaving Parkland and going back to their home countries at the end of this semester. We will meet right after school this Friday. Be sure to plan on being there at 2 p.m. in the theatre.




HMCS MALAHAT is coming to school at lunch TODAY TUESDAY JANUARY 16 to provide recruiting information for any interested students. See booth in front foyer.

Exam schedule is now posted on the main page of our Parkland website; please ensure that you check to see when your exams are scheduled. More importantly to all students - if you have any exam conflicts listed - two or more exams running at the same time - PLEASE CHECK with your teachers as well as Mr. Buckham to have a plan put in place for you to write one of your conflicting exams at another time during exam week.

PARKLAND MUSICAL THEATRE:  INTO THE WOODS ticket are going fast!

Show runs Wednesday, January 31 - Saturday, February 3, 2018.

Theatre doors open at 6:40 p.m. - show begins promptly at 7:00 p.m. All evening ticket prices are $15.00.

We are excited to announce a Saturday Matinee for our younger audiences at a reduced price this year! Matinee tickets are $12.00. Theatre doors open at 1:40 p.m.; show begins promptly at 2:00 p.m. This show is appropriate for kids 6 years and up.

Congratulations to the Senior Boys Basketball team for their great work at the G.P. VANIER Tournamhey placed 5th, and also won the Best Sportsman-like tam! Way to go Panthers!


Also, Congratulations to our SENIOR GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAM who exhibited some great team play in their games in Cowichan this weekend!



NOTICE TO ALL RUGBY PLAYERS: because of recent poor weather, and the upcoming exam week, rugby practices will be postponed for the next few eeks, and will start up again on Wednesday January 31 at 2:15 p.m.
