Parkland’s Rowing Team raced at the City Championship Regatta this past weekend at Elk Lake. All crews raced hard. The following Panther Crews made the podium:
•Marshall Walden, Oliver Howard-Batek, Rowan Keeler, & Devon Keeler placed FIRST in the junior boys quad.
•Luke LePage steered the senior advanced men's eight to a THIRD place finish. Nicholas Lukie, Anna Hulbert, Danaka Howard-Batek, Kelsie Wolfe, Devon Keeler, Brandon Morino, Cor Van Stolk & Escher Nicholson raced the 1000 m course, finishing in 3 minutes and 36 seconds with a blistering cross-tail wind.
The junior novice men's quad, Rowan Keeler, Marshall Walden, Nicholas Sullivan & Harrison Martin, competed hard for a respectable SECOND place finish.
•The junior men's eight placed SECOND to Claremont in a time of 3:57. This eight included Nicholas Sullivan, Aaron Demers-Kovacs, Jari Scott, Oliver Howard-Batek, Harrison Martin, Marshall Walden, Rowan Keeler, Devon Keeler. It was perfectly steered by Anna Hulbert.
