Do you have any books from your childhood that you don't read anymore? Donate them! 1000 x 5 is an organization devoted to bringing the experience of reading to children who don't have access to books.  They are looking for donations for ages 1-5 with good healthy themes and messages. There are boxes at the office and in the Learning Commons for your donations.

This week's afternoon music is brought to you by our Mr. Fitzgerald and Mr. Cottrell.

Parkland's Concert Band participated in a festival earning a Superior Rating from the Vancouver Island Concert Band Festival and an invitation to the 2021-2022 Nationals, please enjoy their submission.  Our Jazz band earned a Gold Standing in the West Coast Jazz Festival. Congratulations to all members of both bands and their incredible maestro!

The Parkland Track 2021 campaign has been officially launched.  You will notice posters in the school and around the community advertizing this campaign.  We hope to raise enough money by June of this year to replace the track over the summer.  Please spread the word about this exciting new project and check out the website at www.parklandtrack2021.com .  There is a DONATE NOW button on the website for those interested in donating. We also have a Go Fund Me page. It will take a village to raise the money needed but we can do it!

ORDER PARKLAND SPIRIT WEAR! Forms at front office - place your order and pay - pick up at end of the day, at the front office!

Just a reminder that student drop off/pick up is in the parking lot by the tennis courts. Or you can use the bus loop.
