Any students who are interested in joining Musical Theatre next year can meet in the theatre at the beginning of lunch this Friday, June 11. The directors want to see who is interested in being in the cast, and will announce next year’s production!

A great opportunity from IBM for students entering grades 7-12 to have some fun and learn some cool STEAM (Science, Engineering, Arts and Math) knowledge at summer camp. The virtual STEAM camp July 19-23 is free but registration is required.

Do you have any books from your childhood that you don't read anymore? Donate them! 1000 x 5 is an organization devoted to bringing the experience of reading to children who don't have access to books. They are looking for donations for ages 1-5 with good healthy themes and messages. There are boxes at the office and in the Learning Commons for your donations.

Parkland's Concert Band participated in a festival earning a Superior Rating from the Vancouver Island Concert Band Festival and an invitation to the 2021-2022 Nationals, please enjoy their submission. Our Jazz band earned a Gold Standing in the West Coast Jazz Festival. Congratulations to all members of both bands and their incredible maestro!
Saanich International Student Program (SISP) is looking for host families for the 2021/2022 school year.
The Parkland Track 2021 campaign has been officially launched. You will notice posters in the school and around the community advertizing this campaign. We hope to raise enough money by June of this year to replace the track over the summer. Please spread the word about this exciting new project and check out the website at www.parklandtrack2021.com . There is a DONATE NOW button on the website for those interested in donating. We also have a Go Fund Me page. It will take a village to raise the money needed but we can do it!

The parent grad committee has created goody bags for the drive-in movie night! They include some treats, a coupon for a free pizza slice from Keating Pizza and a coupon for a slushy from Peninsula Co-op. Pick yours up in the main foyer at lunch on Friday or visit Mrs. Benson in the Counselling area.
