For all Literature and Writing students attending today's / WEDNESDAY JAN 15 fieldtrip to The Belfry Theatre, please meet in Ms. Rioux's classroom (room 109) at 11:30.

CULTURAL AWARENESS / SENCOFEN (sencholshlin) LANGUAGE event: TODAY Wed January 15, @ lunch, FRONT FOYER. Please stop by & support First Nations Sencofen Language & listen to beautiful cultural hand drum songs. EVERYONE WELCOME.

The grads are now planning the grad fashion show which is the largest fundraiser for after grad.  There is an important meeting to sign up for the fashion show this Thursday January 16 at lunch in room 206.

Attention all Peer Tutors, Ms. Frith needs you to meet Friday January 17 at lunch in the Library. All Peer Tutors to the library / learning commons at lunch for a quick meeting."

Parkland Senior Boys Basketball team finished 4th in the Port Alberni tournament. Parents, Grandparents & Senior Girls team proudly cheered them on in 3 tough games. Results:  (1) Lost to Port Alberni 73-36.(2) Impressive win against Woodland Nanaimo 64-38. (3) against Stelly's, lost 60-47. Special mention to Russell Bennett, Harrison Archdekin and Godwin Porlares for exceptional tournament play.

Congratulations to Senior Girls Basketball team who came second at the 59th annual Port Alberni Totem tournament, finishing late Saturday night in front of 600 to 700 fans. Breanna Clooney was named to the Allstar team & Kristy Gallagher was tournament MVP for the second year in a row. Way to go girls -  you played with pride & a lot of heart. Special thanks to all the parents for their support of Parkland team.

Come check out the ENTREPRENEURSHIP FAIR Wednesday, January 22nd in the foyer at lunch. Business students will be selling their products. Something for everyone. All at great prices, so don't forget your cash. This is an event you don't want to miss!

SPORTS, TEAMS, TEAM MEETINGS:
Reminder for the Tier I Intramural badminton players to go the gym at lunch time today (Wednesday January 15) for the semi-finals matches as well as the consolation matches.

The Tier II badminton championship will happen next Tuesday and Weds at lunchtime.

Get your teams ready for Intramural Dodgeball. Pick up an entry form from the gym. Registration must be in by Thursday January 16 to get entered in the league.
