Sr. Hockey
The Senior program is for students in grades 10, 11 and 12 at Parkland, Stellys and Claremont.
The Seniors are on ice 3 days per week.
The Senior Academy students are in PE class 2 days per week at their home school (Parkland 8:25 to 9:47 am) (Stelly's 8:30 - 9:55 am) (Claremont 8:00 - 8:55 am)
Grade 11 Academy student earn 4 credits for Fitness and Conditioning 11 and 4 credits for Hockey Skills 11.
Grade 12 Academy students earn 4 credits for Fitness and Conditioning 12 and 4 credits for Hockey Skills 12.
The Sr. Academy is the first block of the day and they will be transported back to the school by School Transit for their academic classes.
The Hockey Skills Credits obtained in the program are recognized by the Ministry of Education, therefore are recognized as graduation requirements.
Academy students are engaged with regular School classes in their remaining 3 blocks of instructional time.
